ICONIC AWARDS 2021: Innovative Architecture - Selection for "Musei Reali di Torino" in the category - INTERIOR - Public / Culture / Education
Obiettivo del progetto era rendere accessibile a tutti (design for all) il complesso dei Musei Reali di Torino costituito da diversi monumenti di varie epoche: Palazzo Reale, Cappella Sacra Sindone e Galleria Sabauda. Un sistema di percorsi formato da micro-architetture progettate in funzione di ogni ambiente, caratterizzate da un basso impatto visivo e da alta tecnologia dei materiali e della loro messa in opera. Strutture di appoggio inox con pannelli honeycomb di alluminio per la ripartizione dei rivestimenti: marmo grigio per la Cappella della Sindone; pietra per l’androne della Galleria Sabauda con impianto radiante elettrico; legno per la passerella tra Palazzo Reale e la Sabauda.

The aim of the project was to make the complex of the Musei Reali of Turin (consisting of various monuments from different periods: the Royal Palace, the Holy Shroud Chapel and the Sabauda Gallery) accessible to all (design for all). A system of ad-hoc microarchitecture paths characterized by a low visual impact and by high technology of materials and their implementation. Stainless steel support structures with aluminum honeycomb panels for the distribution of the coverings: gray marble for the Shroud Chapel; stone for the entrance hall of the Sabauda Gallery with an electric radiant system; wood for the walkway between the Gallery and the Royal Palace.
Ziel des Projekts war es, den Komplex der Musei Reali von Turin (der aus verschiedenen Denkmalern aus verschiedenen Epochen besteht: der Konigliche Palast, die Kapelle des Heiligen Grabtuchs und die Sabauda Galerie) fur alle zuganglich zu machen. Ein System von Ad-hoc Mikroarchitektur Pfaden, das sich durch geringe visuelle Auswirkungen und hohe Technologie von Materialen und Implementierung auszeichnet. Stutzkonstruktionen aus Edelstahl mit Wabenplatten aus Aluminium fur die Verteilung der Abdeckungen; grauer Marmor fur die Grabtuchs Kapelle; Stein fur die Eingangshalle der Galleria Sabauda mit electrischem Strahlungssystem; Holz fur den Weg zwischen dem Gallerie und dem Konigspalast.
